Google Officially Unveiled Google Buzz
Google officially unveiled their new product, the Google Buzz. Their newest product for social media which confirms some previous reports that Gmail will integrate a social media feature. Seems like communication on the web has been evolved recently beyond just a simple email and chat such as the Google Wave. And now we have Google Buzz! 🙂
From Google Blog:
Google Buzz is a new way to start conversations about the things you find interesting. It’s built right into Gmail, so you don’t have to peck out an entirely new set of friends from scratch — it just works. If you think about it, there’s always been a big social network underlying Gmail. Buzz brings this network to the surface by automatically setting you up to follow the people you email and chat with the most.
Here are the 5 key features that defines Google Buzz.
- Auto-following
- Rich, fast sharing experience
- Public and private sharing
- Inbox integration
- Just the good stuff
Google Buzz for Mobile
So for those who want to share or view some interesting stuff over the internet, Google made Buzz available on mobile web as well.
Google Buzz for mobile allows you to post buzz and keep up with your friends when you’re away from your computer. It also uses your location to identify places around you. You can select one of these places and attach it as location tag to your posts, or read what others have posted about the place.
